Bio-Polymers Nano-Particles Proteins
Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC–MALS-dRI) Services
Masi Analitica is a contract research and development organization that specializes in analytical services with a focus on aqueous based polymers and related method development. While the team is capable of diverse sample analysis studies, we are experienced in the development of size exclusion chromatography (SEC-UV-MALS-dRI) methods for a large variety of polymeric samples.
Size exclusion chromatography (SEC-MALS) is a widely applied technique for aggregate evaluation in addition to the broad molecular weight and sizing determinations. SEC-UV-MALS-dRI advantages include good reproducibility and many separation options and insights to be had during data collection. We offer services that range from development of SEC-UV-MALS-dRI methods to analysis using a library of existing methods. Additionally, we offer service measurements and method qualifications according to ICH guideline Q2, and openly reference our clients to Wyatt Technology expert staff to initiate acquisition of their own fully functional system - https://www.wyatt.com/ .
Why you should use a MALS instruments for SEC Method Development
The use of an HPLC instrument coupled with a multi angle laser light scattering detector (MALS), UV and Refractive Index Detector (dRI) for SEC method development remains to be a rapidly growing means of characterization and product insight. To avoid misleading results, it is essential to develop a method that is not solely based on the observed elution pattern of the sample, but to also characterize each eluted species individually.
The access to state of the art MALS detectors (WYATT DAWN NEON) and dRI detectors (WYATT OPTILAB) at Masi Analitica allows us to obtain the molecular weight, concentration, and size of all observed fractions within the analytes. With this information we can develop truly feasible SEC-MALS-UV-dRI methods for our clients.
